During my lunch break I wasn’t all that hungry today and decided to just go with a nice big pot o coffee today. I’ll save all those calories for a nice dinner and maybe a few cold ones later on tonight. I am pretty excited too as tomorrow I have a photo shoot with in Indian clothing designer. She has an amazing style and the colors are just so vibrant…can’t wait. The images will be found on my main business site sometime later in the week.

Well I usually don’t do this…ever. But here we go with the continued story on the spider outside my kitchen window. So this morning I got up and he had completely tore down his old web and rebuilt a new one at a different angle this time. So I just ignored it and continued my morning routine and went along with my business. This afternoon during my lunch break I go out into the kitchen to make myself some soup and as I am putting water in the pot this wasp is flying around my screened in porch. Now we’ve had some issues with these red wasps or paper wasps….whatever they are called all summer long. So I am watching to see if he goes into the screened in porch or not.
He starts to act like he is then takes off and flies right into the spider web and man…that spider took to him in half of a second or less. I’ve never seen that happen live before. We have all seen the discovery channel, but this was insane. He wrapped him up in no time then left him for a bit and went back to the center of his web and then about 5 mins later went down and grabbed the wasp and took him up to the middle with him where they both are right now. Here 2 pics I took really quick while he was heading back down to grab him.
Then the last one I took to kind of a cartoon state…for fun more then anything else!

So I wake up for work and it’s your basic normal morning and routine. I walk into the kitchen and get some coffee and walk back to my office to get started with work. My wife in a very calm voice asks me did I see it. I said…see what? She replies in the same calm voice and says go look outside the kitchen window. I walk out to the kitchen again and look out the kitchen window and I’m like what…I don’t see….OMG!!! This huge…what appears to be Garden Spider has built this huge web and this guy is as big as my whole hand just crawls down the web and sits right in the middle. So I run and grab my camera really quick and snap off these 2 shots. Nothing special but just wanted to share my morning with you all!

Well recently I picked up a lot of lighting equipment and a ring flash just happened to be part of that order. Here is the receipe for the image below.
Ingredients:
1 part ringflash
1 part wide angle
1 part stacey
1 part jeremy
directions:
mix and bake on 350 until Ring Flashed!

So…yesterday after I got off work, I headed down to the ocean front to visit with my family a bit. Got there and snapped a few pics before heading to dinner at the restaurant downstairs. Dinner was really good and had a few very delicious beers and desserts to finish it off just right.

Well folks…I am starting to get into the groove a bit more and it’s primarily because in the past month I’ve been able to spend a lot of time with family. First went home on vacation to visit my family and friends and now family has come down to visit with us and spend some time at the beach.
During their visit I got to take my nephew Noah….to the skate park. His dad Aaron bought him a brand new helmet after we ate lunch earlier that day and he was pretty amped about it. The whole ride over to the skate park he was raving about it and saying I really love the helmet my dad bought me. So we get to the park and he just starts tearing it up. I had to coach him on the proper etiquette when skating in a park environment. As many of you may or may not know…nobody wants to be snaked…especially by a park nooob! So after giving him the 411…he was back on his way.
He really wanted to drop in on the bigger ramp right away and I persuaded him to start small and work his way up. So he took my advice and he did pretty good. He did not end up dropping in on the big one, but maybe he will before they leave to go back home.
